FAITH is a digital installation by media artist Ian Upton. The work comprises a thousand words. Five hundred words are taken from the bible. Five hundred words are taken from BBC headlines live over the internet. The news words constantly change.
Ian describes the projection based piece as “a sphere of text which gracefully moves. Words are taken from bible passages relating to the passion of Christ and live headlines from the BBC internet news service. So the piece is both old and new and constantly renewing.”
FAITH will be exhibited in The Chapel of Christ in Gethsemane, Coventry Cathedral, October 6th 2005.
